The Milosz Festival 2024 took place from 30 June to 7 July. It is one of the largest poetry festivals held annually in Krakow. The poetic festival began on the anniversary of the poet's birth and the festival itself coincided with the Czesław Miłosz Year celebrations. The motto of the 2024 festival was Survival.
On 7 July Simon Wasiłowicz who is blind and is a daily guide at the exhibition “Into the darkness” at WOMAI had a meeting about his book of poetry “In the Embrace of Paradox”. The meeting took place at the Potocki Palace. It was very poetic! Szymon recited some of the author's poems and talked about the genesis of their creation. Everyone who came discovered a little piece of his poetic soul.
