One of the most revered events in the world of film music is Krakow's FMF, or Film Music Festival. It has been organised by the City of Kraków, KBF and RMF Classic since 2008.
On 26 May 2024, the last day of the festival, the concert "Disney. The Lion King - film with live music" at the Tauron Arena Krakow. Thanks to the cooperation with the Foundation for Barrier-free Culture, the film was shown with audiodescription, translation of the film into PJM and an induction loop.
Before the concert, the WOMAI Centre of Science and Senses organised a sensory workshop. We talked about the lives and passions of blind people, in particular about music. In addition, Jacek, a blind guide at the “Into the darkness” exhibition, played the drum. There were lots of sensory games, reading Braille, washable tattoos that glow in the dark and much more.
