On 26 May, we celebrate Mother's Day in Poland. Every year on this day we show our mothers love, respect and thank them for the effort they put into their upbringing.
Did you know that the history of Mother's Day in Poland is linked to Krakow, where this holiday was celebrated for the first time on 26 May 1914? Today, it is a family holiday celebrated in more than 40 countries around the world, during which children prepare small gifts for their mothers. These include, among other things, laurels, wishes and also flowers.
On the occasion of Mother's Day, the WOMAI Centre has prepared a COMPETITION!
Win two vouchers for one selected interactive exhibition for you and your mum at the WOMAI Centre. Answer the question "What did your mum teach you?" in a comment under the competition post on Facebook or Instagram. We will choose one most interesting and touching comment. We would be delighted if you follow our page and encourage your friends to join in the fun.
The competition will run from 14 May until 26 May at 6pm this year. On 26 May at 20:00 the results will be announced and the winner will be contacted via messenger. Prizes will be available for pick up at WOMAI at 34 Pawia Street in Krakow or we will send them by post.
In addition, on 26 May there will be a special 20% discount for every mum with her child for a selected interactive exhibition at WOMAI. Remember to mention the discount password MOTHER when showing your tickets. Tickets for purchase are available through our website https://womai.pl.
