Lie down comfortably and listen – sound therapy! 27.02.22

Have you ever heard of sound therapy?

How sound can heal? It sounds unbelievable, but as it turns out, positive sounds can alleviate some symptoms of serious illnesses. One thing is for sure - good music can have a calming, stress-reducing effect, resulting in a longer and healthier life. Imagine lying down comfortably, closing your eyes and drifting off into a world of soothing sounds, with a maximum dose of positive thinking. Isn't it pleasant to be happy?

Bowls, gongs and other therapeutic instruments have been used since ancient times.

According to legend, the first Tibetan bowls were made from meteorites, the sound they produce being an important part of spiritual development in Buddhism and Hinduism. It is impossible not to agree that meditation, has strong ties precisely with music. During meditation, we switch off thinking and allow ourselves to relax for a while, both bodily and spiritually.

In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it is not so easy to remember psychological development, the lack of which can prove devastating in the long term.

More and more companies are engaging in initiatives aimed at relaxation. One such place is the WOMAI Centre of Science and Senses, where blind sound therapist Natalia Kaczor conducts sessions entitled “bathing in sounds”. What is this extraordinary experience about?

Lie down comfortably, in total darkness and listen! Feel the stress of the day slowly leave you and surrender to the soothing sounds of unusual instruments.

No, no, this is not music therapy, but sound therapy. All environmental sounds have good or bad effects on our bodies. How does the incessant noise of a big city affect you, and how does the sound of waves crashing on the sea shore affect you? Well, that's right - different frequencies and intensities of sound affect us, although we don't always realise it. Bowls, gongs and other relaxation instruments are tuned in such a way as to relax the most deeply.

Come for a unique sound bath, during which you will relax your body and mind.

In complete darkness you will relax even more deeply. Take your favourite cushion with you, put on comfortable, non-restrictive clothing and warm socks. But above all, open your mind, let the soothing sounds lift you up and experience relaxation like you've never known before.
