A guide dog is a dog specially trained to work with a blind or partially sighted person. It facilitates smooth movement, gives a sense of security and provides support in everyday life. It makes blind people more active and independent. It is not only the eyes of a carer with a disability, but also an invaluable friend.

28 April marks International Guide Dog Day. The aim of the holiday is to raise awareness of the important impact these animals have on the lives of blind and partially sighted people.

Do you know how long it takes to train such a dog? What qualities should such a dog have? We will be happy to answer these questions and much more on 28 April at the Center of Science and Senses WOMAI. Buy a ticket with a 20% discount for the exhibition "Into the darkness".
