Public transport
There are three public transport stops near WOMAI: Politechnika (trams and buses, approx. 3 minutes on foot), Dworzec Główny Zachód (trams and buses, approx. 4 minutes on foot) and Dworzec Główny Tunel (trams, approx. 5 minutes on foot).
Getting here by train or bus
Kraków Główny Railway Station and the Małopolska Bus Station are both approximately a 10-minute walk from WOMAI.
How to get here on foot? If you arrive by train, you can walk directly from the railway station into Galeria Krakowska shopping centre. If you arrive by bus, walk through the bus station and railway station towards the shopping centre. Once inside Galeria Krakowska, head to the nearest exit to the outside, one level up and opposite the railway station exit. After leaving the shopping centre, cross the street and turn right. You will pass the PURO Hotel and a car park. The entrance to WOMAI is just beyond the car park!
Getting here by car
WOMAI does not have its own car park. Paid on-street parking is available in designated spaces in the surrounding area, which is part of Paid Parking Zone A. There is also a private car park at Ogrodowa 4, 31-511 Kraków, as well as a paid car park at Galeria Krakowska shopping centre.
Getting here by coach – organised groups
Coaches can stop at the designated tourist drop-off points on Warszawska Street, by Kraków University of Technology (1 space), and on Pawia Street, by building no. 18a (2 spaces). The maximum stopping time at these points is 10 minutes.
The nearest coach parks are on Kopernika Street, by the PTTK Tourist House (7 spaces), and at Kamienna 2–4, at Fort Kleparz (3 spaces during the day and 10 at night).
WOMAI is a place for everyone – children, adults, seniors, people with disabilities, couples, families, organized groups, and solo visitors. A great idea for a date, a family weekend, a school trip, or corporate team-building.
The duration of the visit depends on the selected attractions – from 1 to 4 hours. Additionally, you can use the game zone near the reception and the gift shop.
No, visiting attractions at WOMAI always takes place with a guide. Entry times can be checked in the ‘Buy Ticket’ section.
Yes, everything takes place indoors, making it an ideal place on a rainy day. The rooms are air-conditioned, so you can enjoy plenty of attractions and take a break even on hot days.
Yes! Although the exhibitions are permanent, they are regularly improved. WOMAI also organizes sensory workshops, special events, team-building activities, and online visits – it’s worth coming back!
Definitely! WOMAI is one of the best attractions for children in Krakow – we offer learning through play, sensory, motor, and artistic development in a friendly format at the ‘into the light’ exhibition. Children up to 2 years old enter for free, and for all children under 6, we have special entry hours (‘into the light’ exhibition with children up to 6 years old).
We do not offer a special birthday package, but we encourage you to use our standard offer – visiting the exhibitions can be a great addition to birthday celebrations.
Tickets are best purchased online at www.womai.pl (the ‘Buy Ticket’ section) or on-site at Pawia 34 in Krakow. Online reservation guarantees entry at the selected time.
Yes. The facility is adapted – elevators and other amenities are available. Our attractions are designed for everyone. We offer a 20% discount on tickets to the ‘into the light’ and ‘into the darkness’ exhibitions for people with disabilities and their companions. Before your visit, contact us by email or phone to ensure that the selected attraction is suitable – many factors influence this, such as the type and degree of disability, as well as assistive devices you use.
If active at the moment, discount codes for WOMAI can be found on family blogs or through our partners. We do not provide codes by phone or on-site – guests must find them themselves. In case of doubts about the validity of a discount code, we encourage you to contact us by phone. Codes usually provide a 20% discount, and tickets with such a discount can be purchased directly on our website. Please note that upon entry to WOMAI, staff may ask you to provide the code or verify eligibility for the discount; if missing, you will be asked to pay the difference at the Center’s ticket desk.
Yes. At the WOMAI shop you will find interactive toys, educational gadgets, souvenirs, sensory accessories, and more.
Yes. Guests have access to key lockers, a cloakroom, and surveillance throughout the facility.
Organized groups are welcome. Please contact us in advance by phone or email to reserve a time and prepare attractions. Times available in the ‘Buy Ticket’ section apply only to individual entries.
WOMAI stands for World of My All Inspirations. It is a space for education, science, experiences, and integration – for everyone, regardless of age or ability.
Yes, we accept card payments, BLIK, and cash.
Opening hours may change – we adjust them to guests’ needs, so the summer schedule differs from the school year or during special events. The most reliable source is always the womai.pl website or WOMAI’s Google profile – check before your visit to be sure of current hours.
No, the WOMAI Centre does not have its own parking for cars or coaches.
You can park your car in the Galeria Krakowska car park or in the nearby pay-and-display car park on Ogrodowa Street. For those planning only a quick drop-off, there are also Kiss & Ride zones nearby on Warszawska Street and at the Main Station East.
For groups arriving by coach, please note that the driver must arrange their own parking space for the coach or a safe place to drop off the group. The WOMAI Centre does not have a dedicated car park or parking spaces for coaches.
Yes, gift vouchers for one or both of our exhibitions are available at the WOMAI Centre. Each voucher is valid for one person – regardless of their age. The voucher is valid for six months from the date of purchase.
We print the vouchers in-house on our own letterhead. If you are unable to purchase a voucher in person at the WOMAI Centre, please contact us by email.
