Frequently asked questions
The exhibition is a meeting with science that surprises and delights. We’ll take a closer look at light in its many forms, discover where colors come from, and explore how sound really works. All of this to show that our world can be fascinating at every step – you just need to look closely.
We believe science doesn’t have to be boring – it can surprise, entertain, and inspire. We want to show that the world around us is full of extraordinary phenomena worth discovering. We hope that after the exhibition you’ll look at everyday life with greater curiosity and a fresh perspective.
Tours take place in small groups (maximum 10–12 people). Each group has a guide who tailors the narration to the participants and introduces them to the fascinating world of science, happily answering all questions. During the tour, you can test, experiment, and freely interact with the exhibits. Tours are scheduled at specific times, according to the timetable shared in advance.
Tickets can be purchased on our website, in the ‘BUY TICKET’ tab, as well as at the Center’s ticket office. Online ticket sales are available until 30 minutes before the start of the tour; after that, tickets can only be purchased at the ticket office. Weekend entry times for individual visitors are published in advance – usually in the middle of the preceding month. Weekday slots are released on an ongoing basis – most often on Thursday or Friday for the following week.
The visit takes place in the same space as the ‘into the light’ exhibition, but this time the focus is on our youngest guests. Experiments can be seen in a relaxed atmosphere – the emphasis is on fun, and the guide adjusts the explanations so even the youngest can understand and take something away from the visit. It’s important, however, that children are able to focus on the exhibits – at each station we spend about 5–10 minutes. It’s worth making sure that this form will be engaging for your child.
When joining the standard ‘into the light’ sessions, general rules apply – if a child causes a disturbance during the tour, they may be asked to leave the exhibition. By choosing sessions dedicated to the youngest, you can be sure that children will be able to enjoy the whole exhibition regardless of their mood or reactions. Children under 2 enter free of charge. Reduced-price tickets are available for children, youth, students and and for seniors over the age of 65. Please remember that every participant over 2 years old requires their own ticket – a parent’s ticket does not include entry for the child.
