The show is a series of spectacular experiments in chemistry and physics, practically illustrating phenomena known from science classes. You’ll see, among others, reactions with fire, experiments with gases, explosions, and surprising changes of state. The show is led by an experienced scientist who shares their passion for science with children and young people every day.
We want to show that science can be fascinating, and that what seems difficult and complicated can become understandable and exciting in the right conditions. The show is based on the idea of learning through experience – we believe we remember best what we can touch, see, and take part in ourselves.
The show takes place in groups of up to 30 people. Children not only watch the experiments live but also take part in them – volunteers can assist the presenter, help prepare experiments, and test simple reactions themselves. Everything is supervised by an experienced scientist who explains what’s happening and answers questions in a way adapted to the participants’ age. The show lasts about 45–60 minutes and is dynamic, full of surprises and scientific curiosities that spark imagination and encourage further exploration of the world.
Tickets can be purchased on our website, in the ‘BUY TICKET’ tab, as well as at the Center’s ticket office. Online ticket sales are available until 30 minutes before the start of the show; after that, tickets are only available at the ticket office. Experiment shows take place occasionally – their availability can be checked in the calendar after selecting the ‘experiment show’ option in the ‘BUY TICKET’ tab.
These are special events, usually held during holiday breaks (e.g. Christmas, Easter), long weekends (e.g. May holidays), or school breaks (winter and summer holidays). On such dates, experiment shows usually take place once a day.
