Frequently asked questions
Sensory workshops ‘see by touch’ were created in response to the high interest in the ‘into the darkness’ exhibition. Since the exhibition itself is only available from 5th grade onwards, we decided to create a version tailored to the needs of younger audiences – preschool children and students in grades 1–4. These workshops introduce the youngest participants to the world of the senses in an engaging and accessible way, fostering mindfulness, imagination, and empathy.
The workshops are led by a blind instructor who shares their experience and introduces participants to the daily life of people with visual impairments. During the sessions, children carry out various activities that develop sensory skills, stimulate the senses, and help them understand how blind people navigate the world. Working and interacting together fosters empathy and a better understanding of diversity, which can positively influence social relationships.
Reservations for organized groups can only be made by contacting the Center – by phone at +48 12 313 23 59 or by email at womai.krakow@gmail.com. In your request, please include the number of participants, the number of guardians, the chosen attraction(s), and your preferred date and time of the visit. Please note: sending a request does not guarantee a reservation – it will only be confirmed once you receive a reply from a Center staff member.
The maximum number of participants per visit to the exhibition is 30 – this limit applies only to participants; guardians are not included. One guardian is allowed free of charge for every 10 participants.
We encourage choosing an attraction package that allows you to make the most of your visit to our Center and makes the experience even more special! A great way to enhance the tour is by adding scientific content, selecting the ‘into the light’ path and/or an experiment show. Choosing a package of two attractions costs 80 PLN per person, and three attractions cost 110 PLN per person. More experiences, more learning, more fun!
